The FLIR system is awesome. Cameras work perfect and can easily be reviewed at home when Im connected on same wifi system. The trouble comes when I use the app to remote view when away from home. Its slow logging in, and sometimes (often) times out or will show up briefly and indicate my network is disconnected. I know this isnt true since I have other devices connected and they arent having the same issues. I can almost always remedy this problem by force closing the app and restarting it but it almost always after a minute or two gives me the same network disconnected error. So if you need to be connected for a long time to remote view your cameras, I wouldnt rely on this. If you need to peek in for 20-45 seconds once and a while, you shouldnt have any trouble. Much past this and youll get disconnected. Fortunately Im okay with the short burst of reliability but I wish they could make it better, maybe 5-10 minutes at least. All other aspects of the app work well, including push notifications and recording playbacks work flawlessly. And a quick note, Lorex FLIR customer service is 5 Star. I had to contact them for a hardware issue and she was very quick and solved my problem with ease. All-in-all Id recommend the system, it does what it says.
