Useless

If I was able to I would give it a negative rating. The only way I can access the live view is to shut my phone off and then turn it on again. Even then it only works once in awhile. This was one of the selling features of the system I purchased and I am very disappointed with Lorex. Tried a few times to get technical support, but seems like getting into a endless loop with no end. May 5, finally figured out how to make it work on my phone. After using the app, close it with the home button. Before using the app again, double click the home button and clear the flir page. Works every time I try to use it now.

Garbage

Doesnt match the "Quick Mobile Guide" instructions at all. Just a blank screen, cant configure anything. Utterly broken, zero support. Absolutely the worst App I have ever seen, period.

App works but is clunky and times out often

The FLIR system is awesome. Cameras work perfect and can easily be reviewed at home when Im connected on same wifi system. The trouble comes when I use the app to remote view when away from home. Its slow logging in, and sometimes (often) times out or will show up briefly and indicate my network is disconnected. I know this isnt true since I have other devices connected and they arent having the same issues. I can almost always remedy this problem by force closing the app and restarting it but it almost always after a minute or two gives me the same network disconnected error. So if you need to be connected for a long time to remote view your cameras, I wouldnt rely on this. If you need to peek in for 20-45 seconds once and a while, you shouldnt have any trouble. Much past this and youll get disconnected. Fortunately Im okay with the short burst of reliability but I wish they could make it better, maybe 5-10 minutes at least. All other aspects of the app work well, including push notifications and recording playbacks work flawlessly. And a quick note, Lorex FLIR customer service is 5 Star. I had to contact them for a hardware issue and she was very quick and solved my problem with ease. All-in-all Id recommend the system, it does what it says.

"Failed to connect"

Most recent update seems to cause a "Failed to connect" condition when app is restarted while still in iPhone memory (iOS 9.2.1). Connects after app is flicked away out of memory then restarted fresh. Lots of video performance, sync, and other issues, but just having it connect would be a good start to improving this app.

Great when its working

It is great when it is working and linking to my home system! There are times when it isnt and it isnt because I have a bad internet connection at home or on my phone. Please please fix this problem!!!

Flir app terrible

Freezes all the time. Useless system.

Flir App has no Log Out button

I have an iPad and I am asking Flir App developers to please make a Log Out button. I am a professional Surveillance camera installer and also do Remote Surveillance Monitoring. Nothing can be more annoying and completely useless as this app because EVERY time I want to close this app then return to it I MUST do a hard power off and on to get the FLIR App to be able to view the cameras again. Also I cannot time search more than half an hour back using my iPad, extremely annoying. When I select date and time the ability to chose which camera goes away. FLIR App developers please fix these issues, I want to give your app a five star rating.

Doesnt work

This doesnt even deserve a one star rating. The fact that the only thing that works is that the app opens and that is it. No connection to my cloud as it fails to connect 100% of the time. Before this update version everything worked fine. If its not broken dont fix it. Now that it is broken fix it

Very slow, unreliable.

I have the FLIR HD system and this app is so slow. Takes forever to connect and the lag is incredible. I have the Swann from Sams Club at my house and its much much better.

Please need to fix the application.

Please need to fix the application. I need it because I have a family member with Alzheimer and I need to see the cameras from my iPhone 6 with iOS 9.3.1 S please ....

This company has one job to do and wont fix the problem. Its like being a cookie company that burns every cookie. Its 2016 and they cant figure out remote viewing. It works once then bam its not working ever again until I delete the app and reset the info. Its not even a little bit reliable.

This is the worst ever. Wont let you sign in. Have to reload app all the time. Half the time it wont open.

Update made app worse

Ever since the recent update the app wont work after you open it once. You have to completely close out then re open for it to work. This is every time. Fix this please.

Need a new update

This app worked great before your last update. Now it fails to connect most of the time. When it does connect its not all the cameras. This never happened before the update.

Does not work on iPad!!

Installed latest update and now does not work, reinstalled several times and still no luck. Help!

App never updates

App is frozen in the middle of the update on iPad. Cant delete the app. Useless.

COMPLETELY USELESS NOW

The app worked decent before the update but now, my system is useless since it will not pull up the cameras AT ALL. If you delete it and reinstall, it works for the day and then shows "failed to connect" again. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP. WHY HAVE A CAMERA SYSTEM THAT YOU CANNOT VIEW AWAY FROM HOME!!

Lorex app problem crash fix

The flir app from Lorex Is very bad it crashes often despite contacting their tech support many times it continued to crash their tech support Continued to blame my att dsl service claiming it was slow. I was able to connect remotely to the cameras. However after several days or week I was not able to connect. I discovered if I deleted the app and reinstalled the app I was able to reconnect. After having this happen over and over I took a picture of the bar code of the bar code scanner using my phone and printed it to carry in my wallet so when it crashed I can delete the app and install It away from home. I informed Lorex of the fix to help other people out. I also told them to fix the poor app. Hope this helps Some folks.

Crashed, but I got a little help

**Update~ still crashes. The only way to keep it current is to do a hard reset on your phone and it will work, but only once- you have to do a hard rest every time to get it to work, but at least this way you dont have to re-enter your info. Still needs de-bugged. Suddenly I was getting nothing on my floor display- all cameras were not connecting, I read the reviews and most people mentioned same issue with iPhone. If I deleted and reinstalled app, after filling out all the requirements it would work. When I would go back- Bam, same thing- nothing. I called Flir support and the good guy suggested I change my password- seems the new version doesnt like numbers and symbols in the 6 digit password. He also mentioned to close the cache in my iPhone cause it my cause a hiccup. I did all that and it now seems to be working properly. Thanks Ken!
